On 28 September 2022, EHPA will celebrate its 22nd anniversary while hosting the Heat Pump Forum, a hybrid event where the heat pump industry is joining forces with the main actors from the heating and cooling industry. The #HPForum will take place at the spheres of the Atomium, the symbol and landmark building of Brussels.
The European Commission’s REPowerEU plan sets ambitious heat pump targets. These require around 20 million heat pumps to be installed in the EU by 2026 and nearly 60 million by 2030. What is needed today to achieve these targets? How can we ensure a market framework suitable for heat pump mass deployment in Europe?
By bringing together high-level policymakers, major players of the industry, influencers from related stakeholders the Heat Pump Forum’s aim is to act as a co-creation platform for the heat pump strategy and accelerator.
Together we are reinforcing the heat pump technology's role by putting it at the centre of a green, digital and cost-efficient energy transition. We call for an EU heat pump accelerator as it contributes to boosting energy security, making clean heating affordable, decarbonising the industry, getting homes off gas, creating green jobs and boosting climate action.
